ELCA Young Adults of Color Holy Land Alternative Pilgrimage 2019
Do you have a passion for peace and justice in the world? Are you interested in learning the history of Palestinians and Israelis in the Holy Land first hand? Join us for a unique young adult pilgrimage to Palestine and Israel with other young adults (aged 18-35) of color from all around the United States!
Pr. Tuhina Verma Rasche, an ordained minister of Word and Sacrament in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and Mae Helen Jackson, former Young Adult in Global Mission participant and current Coordinator for Community Engagement and Granting with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will be organizing and leading this unique pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Both have participated in a Young Adult Leadership Development trip to Palestine and Israel, centered specifically around young adults of color, through ELCA Peace Not Walls in May 2017.

Trip Registration Deadline: Initial deadline was June 15, 2018, but we are still accepting applications
Estimated Cost: The approximate cost is $1350, which includes lodging, meals, local transportation, tour guide fees, entrance fees and tips. Airfare to Tel Aviv not included in price. Airfare is approximately $1000-$1300. You are responsible for purchasing your own airfare.
